Every cricket delivery tracked, measured and reviewed
Prop your phone up behind the bowler, facing down the pitch, and play. Zoota finds the release, tracks the ball and calibrates itself to the real pitch.
One ball
Your future radar gun
One phone on a tripod at the bowler’s end, both sets of stumps in frame. A ball gets bowled, called out loud the moment it lands, and turned into a session you can scroll. Here is what happens to one ball.

The 3D world
Every delivery, rebuilt in 3D
Not a diagram of a delivery. The real one, rebuilt from the footage. A 20 ball spell, every ball coloured by where it pitched. Drag to look around, tap any delivery.
Lengths are measured back from the batter’s stumps, and a coach can move the boundaries in Pitch Zones.
What it measures
Ten measurements a ball
No tagging, no trimming and nothing to press. You bowl, and these land on the ball you just bowled.
- Speedseconds after you bowl, not at the end
- Swing & spinmovement on each delivery
- Pitch mapwhere every ball lands
- Arrivalwhere it crosses the batting crease
- Releaserelease point, every ball
- Trajectoryfull 3D ball path
- Breakdownsfilter and compare your stats
- Bowling styledetected automatically
- DRS reviewpitching, impact, wickets
- Leaderboardsrank against your club
Filming it+
No extra hardware and no setup wizard. Prop the phone up and bowl. These are what separate a reading from a good one.
Where to stand
Set the phone up behind the bowler's end, facing down the pitch, with both sets of stumps in frame. Zoota calibrates off the stumps, so it needs to see them.
Camera settings
Shoot at 60fps or higher if your phone allows. Faster frame rates mean sharper tracking and more precise speed.
Lighting
Daylight or bright nets work best. Avoid heavy backlight directly behind the bowler's arm.
Then just bowl
No markers to print and nothing to measure out. Zoota finds the stumps and creases in the frame and solves the camera itself. On an uploaded clip you confirm your camera’s field of view once, and it does the rest.
What the numbers mean+
- Speed
- Kilometres per hour, measured on every ball.
- Swing factor (sf)
- Movement through the air before the bounce, signed: positive is away from a right-hander, negative is in-swing to one.
- Spin (deg)
- Degrees of deviation off the pitch - the part of the movement that happens after the ball lands, measured separately from swing.
- Length (m)
- Metres from the batter's stumps back down the pitch, which is how the app groups a delivery into its four length bands. The boundaries are a default and a coach can move them in Pitch Zones.
- Line (m)
- Metres to the side of middle stump where the ball bounced, signed: positive is the off side.
On video+
On Pro, every delivery is clipped to video automatically, with your numbers overlaid on the footage, slow-mo replay and zoom whenever you need a closer look.
For coaches
Every player you coach, on one page
You do not have to be at the nets. A player records anywhere and the balls arrive in the portal one at a time, while the session is still running. Players use Zoota free; clubs pay for the coaching layer.

One player with a speed gun learns one number. A squad builds a record.
Every player in one ledger+
Sessions as they happen+
A season, not a snapshot+
No hardware beyond phones+
Rolling it out takes an afternoon+
Consent sits with the player: nothing is shared until they accept, and a coach can never rename or delete a player’s session.
- 01
The coach signs in at zoota.co/coaches with their existing Zoota app account.
- 02
They add each player by email or username - the request goes straight to the player.
- 03
The player approves the link in the Zoota app. From then on their sessions appear in the portal as they record them.
